I was born and raised in Southern California.

When I was 18, I directed a documentary about the Hong Kong protests. I interviewed more than 20 activists, scholars, protesters, and government officials. I came home, started college, and released the film. It screened in eight festivals—winning seven awards.

After graduating from Claremont McKenna, I moved to New York. I’ve worked in talent management, film production, and advertising.
